I finally have a finished pair of socks to share – my Rose City Rollers I started early last month. These were actually a very quick knit, but I’ve been only picking them up every now and again in between other projects.
I knit them using Whistlebare Cuthbert’s Sock Yarn in the Sweet Saints Heart colour way I received in my Golden Skein parcel a few months back. I was a bit apprehensive about the yarn, as I’m generally not a huge fan of mohair, but I was pleasantly surprised by these. They are soft, warm, strong and have a lovely sheen. And they are definitely not itchy. I used 69g of yarn so could have made a longer pair, but I think they are so cute as they are!
